Greetings All,
Mark 10: 43-45; Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant. And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all. For even the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life as ransom for many. If only we could love each other half as much as Jesus loves us! As people in authority we deceive one another under the umbrella of love. I refer to the ability of being able to share, to give freely of yourself and your resources; this is a part of the act of love Jesus is referring to. God loves a cheerful giver! John 13: 34-35; A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. You see how many times Jesus uses the word LOVE in these few verses? This clearly amplifies its power. Feeding His sheep wrong information is not an act of love; it’s a sin!
John 13: 14-15; If I then, your Lord and teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. The greatest act of love is to serve, to be a servant of God to humanity. Luke 6: 35; tells us; But love your enemys, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment. And a second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend the whole Law and Prophets.
Blessings from this Ministry.
Pastor Jonathan.
