In the book of Luke, we see the account of how the women supported Jesus’ ministry! It all began at the house of the Pharisee where Jesus went to eat; In V;37 of Chapter 7:it tells us; "And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wipe them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil." The homeowner was quite concerned when he saw what was taking place, knowing the reputation of the woman. Jesus knew his thoughts and answered him by means of a parable in V;40-43; then in V;44-50; He explained how pleased He was with her action, and the way she exercises her faith. In the very last sentence of the chapter Jesus said to the woman "your faith has saved you. Go in peace".
The Bible does not speak as much about women as it does about men being in the ministry, but the women was a forceful agent in the helping Jesus in getting the Word out to the people. Chapter 8: give a good account of some of their activities; please read chapter 8: and be filled with the message.
