"Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down. Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, I am He, and will deceive many. But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and their will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows.
The destruction of the Temple and its’ associated buildings that Jesus spoke about took place in 70 A D by the Roman General Titus. It was not common in those days to speak of the Temple in that manor, so Jesus spoke privately among His disciples. Foreseeing Satan’s greatest weapon, Jesus warned His disciples of his deceptive ways; by reminding them, not to be deceived. Because what they will see taking place is what He already warned them would happen!
What we are seeing now are the events Jesus spoke of that is leading up to the end times. And we are not to be troubled by this!
