The Needs In Your Marriage

And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone, I will make him an help meet for him ( Gen 2: 18;)

Heavenly Father, thank you for your blessing upon my marriage. You truly have made my spouse and I as one flesh before you. Help me always to remember that marriage is honorable and that the marriage bed is undefiled. We delight in the good favor you’ve shown to us, Father. Thank you for all the promise of blessing your Word imparts to us, especially for your promise that you will increase us and not diminish us. Help my spouse and I to remember that though we are married to each other, we are betrothed to you, Lord, in righteousness, judgment, loving kindness, mercy and faithfulness. Help us to continually walk in Faith and in faithfulness to you Lord. Show us how to render benevolence toward each other, as your Word commands. Teach us to mutually submissive, through love, towards each other in the same way that your Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, loves His church, the people He gave His very life to redeem. Thank for making my spouse and I members of the Body of Christ, of His flesh and His bones. Even though this is a great mystery to us, thank you for the example Christ has given to us concerning our marriage. Thank you for my marriage, and my spouse. Through the Holy Spirit, Father, I ask you to bless us with your love, peace and joy. This we expect to receive in Jesus name. Amen.
