RIVERVAL

Written By Pastor Jonathan

“O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies. O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name.” – Daniel 9:18-19

“O Lord, I have heard your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy.” – Habakkuk 3:2

“Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cause Your anger toward us to cease.

Will You be angry with us forever?

Will You prolong Your anger to all generations?

Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?

Show us Your mercy, Lord, and grant us Your salvation.

I will hear what God the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people and to His saints;

But let them not run back to folly, surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him that glory may dwell in our land.

Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed.

Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

Yes, the Lord will give what is good; and our land will yield its increase.

Righteousness will go before Him, and shall make His footsteps our pathway.” – Psalm 85:4-13

“When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land. or send pestilence among My

people, if my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their Wicket ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:13-14

“O my God, I am too ashamed and humiliated to lift up my face to You, my God; for our iniquities have risen higher than our heads, and our guilt has grown up to the heavens.

Since the days of our fathers to this day we have been very guilty, and for our iniquities we, our kings, and our priests have been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, to plunder, and to humiliation, as it is this day.

And now for a little while grace has been shown from the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a measure of revival in our bondage.” – Ezra 9:6-8
